Description *
The digital divide and social inequality decreased by the application of Chaski program. Students in suburban and rural areas of Bolivia without access to education and technology were trained on ICT by the Ayni team. The goal: improve the (ICT)learning in the community while ensuring the financial, technical and pedagogical sustainability of each telecentre implemented, making the "Chaski" a program of structural intervention. Ayni has reduced the digital divide and dropout in rural areas, improving the self-esteem of students, increasing their employment opportunities and facilitating their options to pursue higher studies.
