Access to information and advisory services is a major constraint available for the local MSMEs of Bangladesh are very limited. The scenario in semi-urban & rural areas is even worse. Only the urban, mainly the MSMEs of Dhaka have limited access to such facilities. There is a need for business support service to facilitate MSMEs with a wide variety of non-financial services such as information on access to finance, market linkages, counseling, marketing and other information and advisory services. To address these needs, BIID has planned to establish ‘Online MSME Support Service’ for the MSMEs of Bangladesh.
