Development of the National Broadband Internet
The project, mainly, aims at (i) establishing fiber-optic cable network with high data transmission opportunities, (ii) avoiding the existing digital bridge in the broadband Internet infrastructure among urban and rural areas, (iii) widely applying the e-services and accelerating building of information society, (iv) creating regulatory fair competition environment in the service market. Spectrums of arrangements and indicators for monitoring of these arrangements have been defined in the project to achieve the above-mentioned goals. Simultaneously, this project aims at creating conditions for the country population to use e-services, expanding application of e-education, e-health, e-commerce and other e-services all over the country, as well as, it is targeted to enable all residences to have access to the e-government services by 2015.
