eClinic: Online Health care facility
Availability of quality health service facility in rural areas are missing, usually rural patients have to depend on the local quack or paramedics. Also the patient-doctor ratio in Bangladesh created acute challenge to offer quality service even at these facilities. e-Clinic offers to bring quality health service to rural areas by utilizing modern technology blended with ICT tools. The initiative covers awareness building and offer basic primary health care services in rural settings, specially for the women and children. After consultation, patients receive e-Prescription (including printed version) and ID for future reference.
National implementation:
Ongoing from 01/07/2011 to 31/12/2015
Business Innovation Facility, UK and Ayesha Memorial Specialized Hospital are the major Partners for this initiative.
