The NGO have put in motion mechanism to educate and sensitize women and youth on the causes and solutions to under nutrition. Some of the education and sensitization programs include provision of extension services to women; increase food production and effective utilization of protein rich foods; education on environmental improvement and rural income generation among women and youth and ICT for sustainable development Most women and youth understand the many factors of the quality of life but when given a choice, nutritional programmes are not their priority. Their greater emphasis is often placed on generating income Education of stakeholders will be taken through workshops as to how to prepare the land, planting, harvesting, processing and marketing of farm produce. This project is mainly depending on the participation of stakeholders. This will enable the people to be involved in decision making, planning and implementation. They will also share in benefits of the project through employment, commerce or income, and income generating activities. They will be motivated to participate through information dissemination, public awareness, education and range of communication strategies. This participation will cut across sectors and geographical areas within the region, and across various levels in the society including the grass root.
