Information about the project
My Government Initiative
In a move toward bringing the customers of government services closer to the decision makers in the federal government entities, an initiative “My Government” was launched to mark another achievement of the UAE government. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has launched the “My Government” initiative, an integrated portal to connect directly with customers dealing with the federal government entities. The My Government Initiative aims at developing services that would ensure improvement in the federal government’s operational and service efficiency which is one of the main pillars of the 2011-2013 strategy. It also intends to improve the quality of life for UAE nationals and expatriates as per the UAE Vision 2021. Sheikh Mohammed launched the portal by sending an e-mail message of his appreciation to five federal entities for taking the lead in the development of government services. Included in the first phase of the initiative are five federal entities — the Ministry of Labor, the Federal Electricity & Water Authority, Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, the National Transport Authority and the Ministry of Interior
