The International e-Partnership Summit (IePS)
The IePS was the largest promotional and engagement initiative undertaken so far under the CC programme. Its major objective was to communicate to the countries of the Commonwealth the work being done under the Commonwealth Connects umbrella. It was ultimately aimed at promoting effective global partnerships between the public and private sector in order to develop and implement strategies which will bridge the digital divide across the 53 countries of the Commonwealth. The Summit brought together very high-profile individuals from the public and private sector, including the President of India, civil society and academia.
