Draft National Programme for Accelerating Information Society Development 2007-2010
The Draft National Programme for Accelerating Information Society Development 2007-2010 has been drawn up by a working group, part of the Coordination Council for Information Society to the Council of Ministers. The Programme emphasises the convergence of ICTs, electronic content, public services and an improved quality of life. In addition, in view of the Bulgarian Government Strategic documents for the period 2007-2013 and in accordance with the renewed Lisbon agenda and the first substantial initiative – i2010, five directions for development have been defined in the Programme: ICT infrastructure; Society and Culture; Economy and Employment; Education, Training and Research; Information Society Promotion and Branding of ICT sector.

All ministries and governmental institutes which are responsible for Information Society Development, business organizations, educational and training institutes, trade unites, civil society, and consumers.
