Conference of the Ministers of Information and Broadcasting in the Asia Pacific Region, May 27-28, 2003, Bangkok
This was thee first conference of the Ministers of Information and Broadcasting from the countries in the Asia Pacific region, as well as the heads of radio and television organisations, policy makers, decision makers, scholars and representatives of international organisations. They came together on one platform to discuss and deliberate on issues like Media and globalisation, Cultural Diversity, Public Service Broadcasting, Information Divide and Human Resource Development. Their recommedations, which have bearing on WSIS are given in the URL below.
