Workshop on “good” and “bad” practices regarding the image of women in the media: the case of trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation (1998) Report on the impact of new technologies on trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation (2003): proposals and recommendations for action and research in this area. Draft convention of the Council of Europe on action against trafficking in human beings: the Convention’s definition of human trafficking covers trafficking involving use of new information technologies; the definition’s reference to recruitment covers recruitment by whatever means (oral, through the press or via the Internet).
