The World Summit Award (WSA) - a global initiative for selecting and promoting the best in eContent and creativity
The World Summit Award (WSA) is a global initiative within the framework of the WSIS, for selecting and promoting world’s best in e-Content and Creativity. It sees the bridging of the digital divide and narrowing of the content gap as its overall goal. The WSA places its emphasis on cultural diversity and identity, the creation of varied information content and the digitalisation of educational, scientific and cultural heritage. The WSA initiative is built on the enthusiasm and dedication of leading international organisations and high motivated individuals from all over the world. As of today, the initiative involves 136 countries on all five continents and the associate partner network counts over 90 partner organizations.
