The First International CyberSchool of the Future for the New IT Generation KIBERone

-

Description

The CyberSchool KIBERone is the international CyberSchool of the future for the new IT generation, a project for additional training of children from 6 to 14 in digital technologies.
The project participants focus on several important tasks:
1. to provide the young generation with modern digital skills that are not taught in secondary schools, but are in demand in the era of global informatization;
2. teach children to use various gadgets for the benefit of learning and development and make them full-fledged members of the information society.
The project contributes to the early professional orientation of children and, in the long term, to the reduction of the deficit of qualified IT specialists, which is currently observed around the world.
For this purpose, a long-term integrated development program is being developed within the project, which includes teaching popular programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.), developing computer games, artificial intelligence and virtual reality technologies, blockchain, web development, cybersecurity, and much more.
The curriculum contains more than 50 areas, and this is the largest number among all the curricula on the market.
In the classroom, children get acquainted with innovative technologies, learn what programming is and why it is interesting and exciting, become developers of their own digital projects.
The program is developed by existing employees of large IT companies who have experience in creating innovative IT products, and tutors are practicing IT specialists who are able to pass their experience and knowledge to the younger generation in an accessible language. The total period of study at the CyberSchool is up to 9 years.

Replicability

To date, the project is developing around the world.
The replicability of the project is ensured by several factors:
1. The project is being developed through franchising and through its own branches
This allows us to expand the territory of presence and spread our own educational model in a short time and without attracting additional resources (financial, personnel, etc.).
A franchise package has been developed, which includes a detailed description of the project organization technology, teaching aids for training programs, instructions, and all kinds of partner support (administrative, legal, marketing, etc.);
2. The training program has been translated into several languages (English, German, French, Serbian, Portuguese, etc.);
3. The training program, a model for organizing business processes, and technology for promoting services can be adapted in any market (any country, any city/town, population size does not matter);
4. The company profile is one of the most relevant in the field of additional education for children, and the demand for high-quality education of children in the field of digital technologies is growing worldwide;
5. Interaction with partners (organization of joint events, free workshops, consulting on business organization, employee training, partner support) is possible in a round-the-clock online mode, which increases the efficiency of management and control and accelerates decision-making and adjustment.

Sustainability

The sustainability of the project is due to several factors:
1. Shortage of qualified IT specialists in many countries of the world, which indicates the demand for high-quality specialized education now and in the future;
2. Stable demand for high-quality services for the additional development of children in the field of digital technologies
According to the company's own marketing research, the number of children in the world who regularly attend training centers in the field of digital technologies is growing by about 6-10% annually;
3. Additional full-fledged education in the format of an IT school
The project program implies long-term comprehensive training, which is designed for a period of up to 9 years and can take place in parallel with the basic education and in addition to it;
4. Team of qualified specialists involved in the implementation of the project
The project team consists of specialists in programming and IT, management, marketing, and pedagogy. The total number of employees and developers is about 100 people;
5. Constant adjustment and updating of the training program through the introduction of modern educational modules, relevant training platforms, as well as interesting and non-standard tasks and projects for self-implementation;
6. Sources of stable financial flows
The volume of financial revenues of the company is formed through three permanent channels: training in its own divisions, the implementation of franchises (lump-sum contributions), and regular payments by existing franchisees (royalties);
7. The possibility of replication of the project in any locality;
8. The project's target audience is children and adolescents aged 6-14 (children at this age are especially susceptible to new knowledge, are interested in modern technologies, and actively use gadgets, but use them mainly for entertainment) and their parents (they care about quality education of their children, and precisely at the age of 6-14 invest the core capital in their development).

WSIS values promotion

Today, it is impossible to imagine the development of modern society without information technology. Information and communication technologies have a significant impact on many areas of life. i.e. the economy, the social sphere, the public sector, and, of course, education, and information and knowledge become the main value in the modern world. We consider the popularization of children's education in the field of digital technologies, introducing the young generation to the development and meaningful use of ICT, training in the necessary digital skills and thereby forming full-fledged members of the modern information society, focused on continuous development and activities in the interests of all mankind to be the main goals of our activity. This is consistent with one of the main goals of the WSIS and Action line C3 – Access to information and knowledge, as well as the goals of sustainable development. Our own deep conviction is that human capital is one of the most important components of the information society. Therefore, we are developing a modern educational program, which is based on the use of ICT (educational online platforms and applications) and helps to increase literacy in this area. We strive to develop the project and introduce teaching methods on the national and international levels so that children in different countries of the world have the opportunity to get access to the most modern and relevant knowledge that is in demand now and will be in demand in the future. This is consistent with the WSIS Action line C4 – Capacity Building, as well as Action line C7 – ICT Applications. In addition, we strive to eliminate the gender barrier and break the stereotype that programming and ICT are for men only. Girls are actively involved in training in the project (their share is 30% of the total number of students in the project), which potentially contributes to the increase in the number of women in the field of ICT and also corresponds to the WSIS Action line C4 – Capacity Building.
