Startout Brazil


Brazilian Program for the internationalization of startups

Description

StartOut Brasil is a non-profit program, sponsored by public and private Brazilian organizations, which supports the immersion of Brazilian startups in some of the world’s most promising innovation ecosystems. The initiative provides the entrepreneur a complete experience with training in internationalization; market intelligence; networking with potential customers, investors and partners; and support for softlanding. Carried out by the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE), the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil), the Brazilian Service of Support for Micro and Small Enterprises (SEBRAE), and the Brazilian Association of Science Parks and Business Incubators (Anprotec), the program has already been in Buenos Aires, Paris, Berlin, Miami, Lisbon, Santiago and Toronto.

Sustainability

The Startout program contributes to sustainable production and consumption patterns and reduce traditional barriers, providing an opportunity for all to access local and global markets in a more equitable manner by enabling young entrepreneurs to operate in foreign markets.


WSIS values promotion

The fundamental values of freedom, equality, solidarity, tolerance, shared responsibility, and respect for nature are intrinsically intertwined with the technological solutions that the Starout program will take to other countries. No startups or technological solution that breach these values are accepted in the program.
