As AI deployment and applications expand, algorithms are performing ever more tasks beyond human capability or previously thought to rely on human creativity. But how can AI and the data it generates be managed or regulated? As AI increasingly replaces humans across different industry sectors and jobs, how can governments, society and individuals prepare for the economic singularity? Should we consider measures such as life-long learning or basic income provision? How can we best create social good through AI – in Africa, and throughout the world?
