Bing Zhang received the B.S. degree from Peking Aeronautics and Astronautics University, China, in 1983, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Hiroshima University, Japan, in 1987 and 1990, respectively.
From 1995 to 1996, she was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate with the University of Tennessee, USA. From 2000 to 2004, she was with Adaptive Communications Research Laboratories, Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International, as a Senior Researcher. Since 1991, she has been with the Communication Research Laboratory, National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), as a Senior Researcher. Her research interests include ubiquitous communication, wireless mesh and sensor networks, 2-D communication, and wireless power transmission. Sheis a member of IEICE and IEEJ.
