As the Head of Strategic Marketing for Asia Pacific and Japan, Danial is responsible for initatives that drive growth in new verticals and market segments for Nokia. His ambition is to future-proof digital adoption across a diverse market and strive for value creation. A truly global citizen, spending more than 15 years in the telecommunications industry, Danial has gained experience, spanning from sales, marketing, strategy to network deployment across a diverse set of cultures in Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East andNorth America.
Danial entered the telecommunications world as a developer in the early 2000s with Motorola in the US and soon became involved with large-scale operators on mobile deployments. Based on firsthand experience and unrelenting focus on value creation for customers, Danial now drives marketing strategies with an emphasis on data-driven awareness; demand generation and vertical business development across a broad range of product portfolio.
Danial spearheads dialogues with executives and analysts on investment strategies for broadband based on in-depth go-to-market analysis for the effective means of monetizing new revenue streams. Since 2013, he has worked with operators in more than 30 countries addressing the emerging and mature technologies for different markets. Danial is a frequent speaker at various industry events such as SEMI and IEEE focusing on topics of 5G, Analytics, Big Data, and market development. Danial is also a founder of a not-for-profit organization that manages a charitable fund in Australia which educates under-privileged children across Southeast Asia. His pro-bono efforts have enabled him to participate in a number of panels on development initiatives in the region. Danial holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Arizona State University and an MBAfrom IE Business School in Spain.
