Jennifer leads ITU’s corporate global Media Relations activities from the organization’s headquarters in Geneva. In this role she works with ITU’s executive leadership and media worldwide to position the organization and its important work to“connect the unconnected.” Jennifer has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of international media communications. This has included leading the global communications activities of a key UNEP programme and of two leading international NGOs, working as an international journalist based in East Africa for nearly a decade,  and providing strategic and tactical communications and public relations advisory services to Fortune 500 companies.

Jennifer holds an MA in Communications from Marist College in New York; a BA from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts; and has also studied at Paris IV University (La Sorbonne). She is a dual US/France national and speaks English and French, has been published in Public Relations Quarterly, and has won several PR industry awards including a PRNews' Platinum Award.
