Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunication Company

Wataniya Mobile was launched in November 2009. Wataniya Mobile Palestine was first established as a partnership between the Wataniya Group (headquartered in Kuwait and majority owned by Qatar Telecom (Qtel) Q.S.C.) and the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF) with ownership stakes of 57% and 43% respectively. The current ownership structure has the Wataniya Group at 48.45%, the Palestine Investment Fund at 36.55% and 15% free float. We are a mobile company that aims to be the communications leader. We offer a portfolio of products and services tailored to suit business and personal needs.

Mr Fayez Husseini

Mr. Husseini has over 20 years professional experience both locally and regionally. Previously Mr. Husseini has served senior positions in the Mobile telecommunications and MVNO businesses including Dubai based FRiENDi Group (now Virgin Mobile MEA). He also has significant experience in the field of investment and private equity in the region most recently serving as Principal at Abraaj Capital managing their Palestine Growth Capital Fund. Mr. Husseini holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Finance, from the American University, Washington D.C.
