Andreas Maierhofer

Mr. Andreas Maierhofer has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Makedonski Telekom and President of the Board of Directors of T-Mobile Macedonia effective February 1, 2014. 

He studied Law at the University of Vienna, Austria and graduated at the Management school in St. Gallen Switzerland, however his extensive expertise is gained in telecommunication, area he dedicated over 20 years of life and work.

Mr. Andreas Maierhofer started his professional carrier in 1987 at the Telekom Austria Group and since then he has held various management positions. In 1996, he became Head of Billing Collection department and, in 1999, he took over the position of Director Customer Service at Mobilkom Austria. As Chief Operating Officer at Si.mobil Slovenia, Andreas was responsible for Marketing Sales, Customer Service and Human Resources since 2004 and became its Chief Executive Officer in 2006.

In 2007, he continued his international career and moved to Bulgaria where he took over as Chief Marketing Officer in Mobitel Bulgaria. His extraordinary achievement in the Bulgarian subsidiary of Telekom Austria, in 2009, took him to the position of CEO of Mobitel Bulgaria, where he remained until 2013.
