Sudan Telecom Company Ltd. (STG) was founded on 13th September 1993. STG, as a Sudanese company, it is the bridge for telecommunication movement between the Arab world, Africa and the rest of the world. STG offers various telecom services and keeping its competitive edge with other companies. STG main services include provision of mobile services, fixed-line services, as well as carrier and wholesales services. STG is running now a telecom business (telecom operators) in five African countries (Sudan - Mauritania – Senegal – Ghana – Nigeria) covering the areas of Mobile, fixed, Internet and broadband services.

Eng. Tariq Hamzah Zein Elabdein

Eng. Tariq Hamzah Zein Elabdein - is the President and CEO of Sudatel Telecom Group (STG). He obtained his Bachelor Degree with Honors in Electrical Engineering from Khartoum University and his Master of Engineering Management (MEM) degree from Old Dominion University in Virginia, USA. He has more than 20 years of experience in Telecommunication.  Before joining STG, he spent the last decade in different administrative and leading positions in international companies including Cingular Wireless, WFI, Lucent Technologies and AT&T. Eng. Zein Alabedein received academic awards in the  Operation Research field such as VMASC and published papers in scientific periodicals in the System Modeling field in the USA.  He is a member in many scientific and engineering organizations such as IEEE; ASQ, USA; Golden Key International Honor Society, USA; Phi Kappa Phi, USA; Engineering Honor Society – ODU, USA; and PMI, USA.
