Ms Balčytytė currently directs Governance and International Development strategy at NRD Companies – a global information technology and consulting group that specializes in the development and governance of economic digital infrastructure, with a specialised focus on NRD Cyber Security initiatives for securing digital environments through cybersecurity technology consulting, incident response and applied research.

Ms Balčytytė has extensive experience in international development, governance and policy through her prior work serving as representative at the Executive Board of the World Bank Group and holding high-level positions in the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. Her key interests include various aspects of civil registration/identification ecosystems, as well as access to information, including areas of privacy and security.

Ms Balčytytė is strongly committed to development and has been recognised for her achievements in facilitating the connection of opportunities with capacities while addressing complex development challenges.
