Godfrey Mutabazi is the Executive Director of the Uganda Communication Commission, the regulator of Communications services in Uganda; a position he has held since 2013. An Electrical Eengineer with specialization in aviation, telecommunications and broadcasting, he brings a wealth of experience and expertise to this position.

His term as Executive Director has seen growth of Uganda’s communications’ sector and enriched the country’s global investment profile. He has supported ICT inclusion as a key enabler in the national development objectives. His initiatives in both the private and public sector have seen to the integration of ICTs in other service-oriented sectors such as education, health, security and governance among others. Away from core ICT, Mr. Mutabazi is a champion for equal opportunities, gender balance as well as ICTs and climate change.
