Eligibility
Within the budget available, fellowships may be granted to delegates from Least
Developed Countries and developing countries1 with a GDP per capita less
than 2'000 USD, with priority to Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and to those who
present new contributions of direct relevance to the expected outputs of a given
Question.
Air ticket and subsistence allowance
A full fellowship includes one return economy class air ticket by the most direct/economical
route from the country of origin to the location of the meeting as well as a daily
allowance to cover accommodation, meals and incidental expenses.
Due to budgetary constraints, the countries beneficiaries of a fellowship may have
to contribute partly to the costs of the fellowship.
To request a fellowship
To request for a fellowship, you must first register online and
tick the appropriate box on the form. Upon the acceptance of your registration,
an electronic fellowship request form will be sent to the participant.
The fellowship request form should be filled out, signed and approved by a duly
authorized officer of the administration who should also sign it and stamp it with
the official stamp of the administration.
It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that the form, duly completed,
signed and approved, is returned before the deadlines given on the meeting's
relevant web page. Requests for fellowships arriving after the deadlines will
not be considered.
Once completed, the form can be either scanned and e mailed to
bdtfellowships@itu.int

Only requests that have fulfilled all conditions will be considered.
It is imperative that fellows be present from the
first day to end of the meeting and participate during the entire
fellowship period.
