ITU advises that media accreditation is now open for:

Geneva, 26 February 2013
– Media accreditation is now open for two important events taking place in
Geneva during the week of 13-17 May: the World Summit on the Information Society
Forum 2013 (WSIS Forum, May 13-17), and the World Telecommunication Policy Forum
(May 14-16) & WTPF High-Level Strategic Dialogue (May 13).
Welcoming
an expected 1,200+ delegates,
WSIS Forum 2013
will focus the upcoming WSIS+10 Review, looking at national, regional and global
progress in meeting connectivity targets in areas such as health, education,
gender empowerment and the environment.
The
World Telecommunication
Policy Forum
is a high-level international event promoting an exchange of views on key policy
issues arising from today's fast changing information and communication
technology (ICT) environment. The theme of this 5th WTPF is
International Internet-related Public Policy Matters. It will be
preceded by a High-Level Strategic Dialogue featuring expert panel
discussions around the topic of global broadband access.

UN press accreditation is valid, but
UN-accredited media
must register
in order to obtain an event badge.
All
other media must officially apply for
accreditation:

A single accreditation will be valid for both
events .Please note that a valid event badge
will be obligatory to access both venues.
Media accreditation for these events closes at
17:00 CET 5 May 2013.
