What are TIES and Guest accounts?
TIES account:
ITU members can obtain a TIES account and password, which will give them access to all services restricted to ITU membership, including subscription to mailing lists.
For more information on TIES, please see
What is TIES
?
Guest account:
Guest accounts are accounts allowing access to a limited number of resources available from ITU. While TIES accounts enjoy facilities such as automatic subscription to Study Group mailing lists and access to the ITU-T's Study Group documentation and informal FTP areas, Guest accounts have access only to public resources (for example, newsletter subscriptions). Anyone can create a Guest account, but access to services reserved to members are then granted on a case-by-case basis.
