FAQs

Can we, as a non-member organization take part in the work of ITU-T?

ITU-T organizes a number of workshops and seminars that are free and open to the public. Their aim is to progress existing work areas and explore new ones. The events cover a wide array of topics in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and attract high-ranking experts as speakers, and attendees from engineers to high-level management from all industry sectors. Here you can find a list of upcoming events organized by ITU-T as well as some that are organized with its support. Webcasts are often available, check for each event.

ITU–T Focus Groups provide another way for non-members to participate. Focus Groups augment the Study Group system providing a way to quickly react to ICT standardization needs and allowing great flexibility in terms of participation and working methods. A list of Focus Groups can be found here.
