Terrestrial Publication and Registration Division (TPR)
The Terrestrial Publication and Registration Division is responsible for:- the loading, validation and publication of frequency assignments notified to the Radiocommunication Bureau concerning terrestrial services (see Publication/Registration and BR IFIC);
- providing assistance to administrations with respect to the treatment of cases of harmful interference;
- preparation of summaries of HF monitoring information (see Monitoring);
- preparation and publication of the service publications such as: List of Coast Stations (List IV), List of Ship Stations (List V), List of Radiodetermination and Special Services Stations (List VI), List of Call Signs and numerical identities (List VII A) and List of International Monitoring Stations (List VIII);
- maintaining the Maritime mobile Access and Retrieval System (MARS) database in support of the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS);
- maintaining the database of frequencies for use in emergency and disaster relief situations (see Activities on Resolution 647 (WRC-07) - "Emergency and disaster relief radiocommunication").
