Summary:

This revision to ITU-T H.264 | ISO/IEC 14496-10 brings three updates. New supplemental enhancement information (SEI) messages provides a new display orientation SEI message and a new multiview view position SEI message. The second modification contains the description of representing depth signals using H.264 video coding. Such a modification may be used for showing 3D Video on autostereoscopic displays and for stereo signal repurposing by changing the baseline of the two displayed views. The third modification contains new specifications for colorimetry in ITU-R BT.2020 and new tone mapping. Such a modification may be used for UHDTV applications.
