Summary: The emerging services, such as cross-domain data storage applications, AI training and inference applications, and scientific computing applications have increased dramatically. These application services require integrated resource scheduling and orchestration of more than one type of resources (e.g. network, computing, storage, algorithms, etc.), and these service usually don't request direct and fixed resource but describe service and task intent as well as performance/cost first consideration. This draft Recommendation will describe the service-oriented integrated resource scheduling for addressing service and task requirements. This draft Recommendation covers the following aspects: - Overview; - Requirements of service-oriented integrated resource scheduling for enhanced NGNe orchestration; - Functional architecture of service-oriented integrated resource scheduling for enhanced NGNe orchestration; - Procedures of service-oriented integrated resource scheduling for enhanced NGNe orchestration; - Requirement templates of service-oriented integrated resource scheduling for enhanced NGNe orchestration.
