Real
Player (for free).
- Save the file in a subdirectory on
your hard disk.
- Double-click on the downloaded
setup file to start the installation.
- Select connection speed depending
on the type of internet connection, T1 for LAN or 28K or higher,
for dialup.
- Firewalls
- If your Real Player is
behind a firewall, and you are having trouble receiving the broadcast,
the firewall may not be configured to allow RealPlayer Traffic. If you
want to view a "Live Broadcast", your system administrator must "Open"
the firewall to allow RealPlayer to stream through it. There is nothing
that can be changed in Broadcast system to allow a Live Real Video
signal to penetrate a firewall unless the firewall is configured to
accept Real Video media. For more information concerning firewalls and
