Minister Choi Yang-hee of the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning,
delegations from member states and ITU officials,
지난 3주간 진행된 ITU전권회의를 마무리하면서,
인류공영과 ITU 발전을 위해서 노력하신 여러분께
무한한 찬사와 감사를 드립니다.
As we are now bringing to a close the three week-long ITU Plenipotentiary Conference, I would like to offer my deepest appreciation and commend you all for the hard work and dedication you have shown in striving to achieve common prosperity for all mankind as well as the continued development of the ITU.
아울러 부산시민을 대표하여 부산을 찾아주신 여러분에게
다시 한 번 깊은 감사의 인사를 전하고자 합니다.
On behalf of all the citizens of Busan, I would like to, once again, express my heartfelt gratitude to you all for coming to our city.
ITU전권회의 기간 동안 우리 대한민국과 부산은
세계 ICT의 중심이었습니다.
부산은 개최도시로서 세계의 주목을 받으며
역대 최고라는 과분한 찬사까지 받았습니다.
During the PP-14, the Republic of Korea and the City of Busan have been at the center of the global ICT arena. Our city was very fortunate to have the eyes of the world on us as this year's host city and overwhelmed by your praise.
저는 회의장을 오가며 회의에 임하시던
여러분들의 모습을 떠올려봅니다.
여러분들의 그 열정적인 모습을 바라보면서
저는 ICT를 통해서 인류의 화합과 발전이 가능하다는 것을
확신할 수 있었습니다.
I can recall many of you shuttling from one conference room to another to attend a series of meetings. As I witnessed your passion and unwavering dedication, I was able to reaffirm my own personal belief that the ICT will serve as a key enabler to bring about harmony and development for all mankind.

Distinguished delegates,
우리가 부산에 모인 이유는 전권회의를 통해서
'앞으로 무엇을 할 것인가'를 결정하고,
실천하는 것이었습니다.
We all have gathered here in Busan with the shared purpose of plotting a course for our future and putting those plans into action through the PP-14.
이제 2014 ITU전권회의를 성공적으로 마무리하면서
저는 우리 부산시가 ITU전권회의 개최지이자
'인류 발전의 도약이 이루어진 곳'으로
기억되기를 기대합니다.
As the 2014 ITU Plenipotentiary Conference is successfully drawing to a close, I hope that the City of Busan will be remembered not only as the venue for the PP-14 but also as the site where a historic milestone for the development of all mankind was achieved.
