The International Radiotelegraph Convention, the General Radio Regulations and the Additional Radio Regulations were revised. In addition, a table for the allocation of frequencies to the various services, including the broadcasting service was established.
The International Radio Technical Consultative Committee (CCIR) was created.
The classification of frequencies in two classes was determined and a procedure for notification of frequencies was formulated.
Finally, it was decided that the next International Radiotelegraph Conference would be held in Madrid in 1932 at the same time as the next International Telegraph Union plenipotentiary conference in order to facilitate the possible unification of the Telegraph and Radiotelegraph Conventions and of the Regulations.
