Armin Fendrich is General Manager of RideCell EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Based in Munich, Germany, Fendrich leads the development of partnerships in the region for autonomous and new mobility services, including ride-sharing, car-sharing, and dynamic fixed route services, as the company continues to expand its footprint outside the United States.
Fendrich has a strong record of accomplishment for growing revenue in automotive and service companies including Nokia and most recently Panasonic/Aupeo, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director. He formerly held the position of Vice President of Sales Automotive Business Unit at NNG, a global operating navigation software company, where he was responsible for commercial activities on a global scale.
He fulfilled the role of Sales and Commercial Director at deCarta, a leading white-label provider of geospatial software platforms, where he was responsible for the B2B sales activities in the EMEA region. As director of PND Sales at Nokia gate 5, Fendrich managed the company’s OEM software license business, covering the EMEA region and handling all customer relationships at the senior level. For two years, he served as President and CEO of ELSA USA and based in San Jose, California. He spent 8 years at Compaq Computer EMEA where he held numerous high-ranking positions, from Product Manager to Director of Product Marketing.
