Biographies

WEIL

Antoine Weil, Senior Consultant, Sumitomo Electric Networks

Antoine Weil is Senior Consultant for Sumitomo Electric Networks in Europe. He was previously CEO and COB of EXPWAY a company specialized in content access platforms based on Metadata. Prior to this position he was representing the French Telecommunication Industry as General Director of GITEP. He held high responsibility positions in Industry, namely Vice President of THOMCAST in charge of Multimedia, Vice president of MATRA NORTEL COMMUNICATION in charge of Terminals, CEO of Videography Systems.

Antoine Weil is a member of many recognized organizations; In particular he is Advisor to the French Government for international Business: CNCCEF (Comité National des Conseillers du Commerce Extérieur de la France).He acts as Vice President of the Paris Committee. He is also Honorary Chairman of IREST (Institut de Recherches Economiques et Sociales sur les Télécommunications)

Antoine Weil is Chevallier de la Légion d’Honneur

Antoine Weil holds an engineering degree from IEG Engineering School. He obtained a Philosophical Doctor in Electrical Engineering from Penn State University with a thesis in Plasma Physics.



Alève Mine, Artist, Switzerland and Eric Bréchemier, Software Designer & Developer, France

Holds a M.Sc. in microengineering and her works are in the fields of music, text, dance and martial arts, moving and static image. She was selected as a finalist in the Switzerland-wide Demotape Clinic competition, appeared in various compilations internationally, performed at the Midem in Cannes, and on two other continents, had airplay on AA flights worldwide as well as on Art Radio “Transmitterhead” during Art Basel Miami Beach. The MoMA Zendai hosted a dance performance of hers in Shanghai and she taught her style as part of the New York Dance Diversion group. Alève read her texts in the framework of the Women Anthology Book Reading at the Bowery Poetry Club as well as at the CUNY. Her moving images were born as part of her music shows, and her static visual works, initially presented in a solo show at the Cabaret Voltaire, are their ancestors as well as progeny.



Daniel Alves da Cruz, iTVBr Systems, Brazil

Founder and IT Director of iTVBr Systems, a company of the business incubation program of the Federal University of Goias. Founder of Grupo Ginga Goias, a working group to study ITU-T H.761 Standard, "Nested context language (NCL) and Ginga-NCL for IPTV services" Graduated from Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás - Brazil - in Computer Engineering. Graduate degree from digital tv, broadcasting and new media of electronic communication (Fluminense Federal University - Brazil). Multiplier of the Ginga Brasil Program in Goiás state. Before to be an entrepreneur, worked at Dataprev (Social Security IT Company of Brazil) and Politec IT Services
