Esmeralda Florez Ramos

Esmeralda Florez Ramos is a Ph.D. Candidate at the Technische Universität Berlin, Chair of Innovation Economics, and Researcher Associate at Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems FOKUS, Berlin. Her doctoral research interest is Data-driven Innovation, with a focus on open data and internet-based business platforms. She holds a University degree in electronic engineering from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia) and a Master´s degree in renewable energy management from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg (Germany). Her professional experience also includes working as a consultant at the International Telecommunication Union, Geneva and project manager at the Centro Internacional de Investigación Científica CITIC, Ecuador. She is author and co-author of reports and articles that have been published by the ITU and the CITIC.
