Antonio-Javier Garcia-Sanchez

 

Garcia Sanchez.png​Antonio-Javier Garcia-Sanchez received Industrial Engineering degree (Master) in 2000 by the Universidad Politecnica de Cartagena. In 2001, he joined to the Department of Information Technologies and Communications as assistant professor, obtaining the PhD degree in 2005. His main research interests are in the areas of computing optimization, streaming services, peer-to-peer applications and wireless personal area networks. He is author/co-author of more than 45 papers in journals and conferences, including thus in referenced ones such as IEEE Communication Magazine, Sensors, Multimedia Tools and Applications or Precision Agriculture among others. He is also inventor/co-inventor of 7 patents or utility models, and he participates in different national and international research projects in the field of communication networks and optimization. He has been a TPC member in 22 International Congresses or Workshops.
