Dr. Simone Wurster studied at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences and at the University of Potsdam and received
a degree in business administration.
After her graduation she worked at Technologie- und InnovationsConsult GmbH Potsdam as project manager and consultant. Since 2003 she has been working as research fellow, lecturer and project coordinator and wrote her PhD thesis about ‘Born Global Standard Establishers’ at the University of Potsdam. Since March 2010 she has been working as a research fellow at the chair of Innovation Economics at the Faculty of Economics and Management at the Berlin University of Technology, focusing on standards and standardization strategies including R&D stage standardization, civil security research, (critical) infrastructures, privacy and entrepreneurship.
