As rapid urbanization threatens the quality of life of urban citizens over the past few decades including Latin America, the concept of Smart Sustainable Cities has emerged as a remedy to this sustainable urban development. This session will discuss how to define Smart Sustainable Cities and the discourse that commonly associates with it.

This session will also look at how ICT solutions can be integrated in the context of Latin America.
