ICT Advisor – Telecommunications Regulatory Authority - Bahrain
Eric responsibilities include a multidisciplinary role in the analysis of key technical issues associated with the development of Telecommunications and ICT market in the Kingdom. He is particularly involved in all aspects related to the International connectivity of the kingdom, the development and sustainability of Internet and Broadband and conducting specific Internet Ecosystem studies.
He is supporting the Market and Competition function in analyzing competitive conditions in a particular market, and determining regulatory remedies. He is also in charge of the implementation of the Quality of Service Regulation with Licensed Operators, and conducting Mobile and Fixed Broadband benchmarking campaigns. He was member of the selection team for the third mobile operator license attribution and LTE frequencies.
Eric has a large operational experience gained over 20 years in International Telecommunications leading companies throughout Europe (BT, Global One, Colt) and the Middle East. Expert in Network Management, Solutions Delivery, Service Assurance and Customer Relations his experience ranges from Network Deployment, Programme Management, Organization, Business Development, Quality of Service and most recently Regulatory aspects.
