Santo Tomás University law graduate, with postgraduate studies in Telecommunications law and professional expertise on subjects as policy formulation, regulation, and surveillance and control for the ICT industry, as well as subjects related to constitutional law and administrative procedure.
During her professional practice Mayerly has been with some public institutions in Colombia, in positions like attorney at the Counsel of State; Judge of Colombia’s Judiciary Branch; Advisor and Control and Surveillance Director (ad int) for Communications Domiciliary Public Services Authority, Regulatory Advisor, Postal Industry Coordinator (ad int) and Conflicts Solution Coordinator (ad int) at the Communications Regulatory Commission; and at the ICT Ministry as ICT Industry Subdirector and as Surveillance and Control Director.
