Dr Ayman Ibrahim has been working for the Egyptian Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, Central Directorate for Monitoring Systems & Communication (Telemetry Project) for more than twenty-four years now. His cuurent position is the General Director for studies and projects. During these years, Dr. Ayman Ibrahim has gained broad experience in areas of Water Resources Management, Information Technologies and Communication Systems, Automatic Control of Canals, SCADA, and instrumentation.
Dr. Ayman has attended more than fifty national and international conferences and has a lot of publications, both journals and conference papers and many applied researches. Dr. Ayman's specialty is in Electronics and Communications and got his MSc from Colorado State University and pursued his Phd at Cairo. His academic background in conjunction with the practical gained daily experience has built a professional electronics and communication systems specialist.
He started his professional carrier when he joined the Main System Management Project, USAID) as a Telemetry Engineer. He worked in the design and implementation of a countrywide Voice and Data Communication System to monitor water level data for Irrigation System. His broad experience in the field of canal automation enables him to be involved in almost all the canal automation projects that launched at the Ministry.
