Ayman Hassan, Ph.D: Obtained his B.Sc. in Digital Communications from Benha High Institute of Technology in 1993. He worked towards his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Spread Spectrum communications from Cairo University in 1998, and 2002, resp. He is now working as an assistant professor at Benha University and as an adjunct faculty member at American University in Cairo. Besides teaching activities, he worked for 18 years in R&D centers serving the industry. From 1994 to 2002, he was with R&D center of Bahgat Group, Egypt, working as Hardware Design Engineer. From 2002 to 2008, he joined the R&D center of Quicktel Egypt, during which he founded and leaded the CDMA unit to design, manufacture and deploy CDMA units for WLL.
Since 2008, he worked as a Researcher at France Telecom R&D Labs in Cairo. He is managing the design, test and deployment of Telecom Solutions for AMEA countries. Reserach interests include Power Line Communication, Spread Spectrum, Ad-Hoc Networks and Military Communications.
