ANDREU Alberto

​Alberto Andreu (Madrid, 1963) is married and has two children. He holds a Degree in Law at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-ICAI), a MBA at Instituto de Empresa (IE), and the Phd credits at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-ICAI). In October 2001 he joined Telefónica, S.A. At present, he is Global Corporate Reputation and Responsibility Director.
He started his professional career in the Research Department at IE. He worked for CEPSA (Compañía Española de Petróleos) as a Manager of Internal Communication Development. After this period, he joined the banking sector, first in Banesto, as a Manager of Internal Communication and Corporate Identity; later on in Santander Central Hispano, the major Spanish bank, where he was a Managing Director of Corporate Identity and Culture for a period of 2,5 years.
He still teaches at the Instituto de Empresa. He has published several articles in technical publications. Additionally, he holds a seat in the Spanish CSR Council, recently created by the Spanish Ministry of Labour and Immigration; he is a Member of the Global Compact Spanish Steering Committee; counsellor of the Chair of Ethics (“Cátedra de Ética Económica y Empresarial”) at Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE-ICAI).
