ITU Forum on "EMF - What does it really mean?"

At the kind invitation from the Dominican Institute for Telecommunications (INDOTEL), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) organized a forum on "EMF - What does it really mean?" that took place on 4 September 2014 in Santo Domingo.

Objectives
The objectives of this forum were to respond to WTSA-12 Resolution 72 “Measurement concerns related to human exposure to electromagnetic fields”, to provide an overview of EMF issues to policy makers and other stakeholders with a special focus on Latin America and to identify a few actions for consideration of Working Party 2 of the ITU-T Study Group 5.
 
Target Audience
The forum brought together leading specialists in the field, from top policy-makers to engineers, designers, planners, government officials, regulators, standards experts and others.
