Session 1 – The Other Side of ICT Convergence: EMF Exposure and Regional Issues
The proliferation of radiocommunication stations in urban and rural environments has raised public concerns regarding human exposure to electromagnetic fields (EMF). This session will provide a general overview on the discourse of human exposure to EMF and associated issues.

Session 2 - Overview of the ITU EMF programme
This session will provide an overview of the ITU EMF activity and programme of work in the new Study Period including the new web resources, standards in development and the proposed new EMF Guide (handbook) and online application. This session will provide also an overview of the activities and projects on EMF that ITU implemented in the Americas Region and will discuss how ITU can assist countries in this area.
