Ms. Michiko Fukahori

Michiko Fukahori works presently at the Standardization Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications of Japan. She has been working in the Ministry for more than 15 years engaging in policy making and regulation in various fields of telecommunications and ICT, such as telephone numbering, IP telephony, satellite communications etc. She has been joining a number of meetings of ITU-R, ITU-T and ITU Council and also worked on ICT for development from 2005 to 2007 in the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP). She graduated from the faculty of Science and Engineering of Waseda University in Japan and studied at HEC Paris in France.
