Dr. Thinn Thu Naing received her B.C.Sc., M.C.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in 1994, 1997 and 2004, respectively from University of Computer Studies, Yangon, Myanmar (UCSY). She has been working in UCSY since 1995. Currently she is a professor in Department of Computer Software Technology, UCSY. She has experienced as a Project Manager at ICT Human Resource Management Project with Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Ministry of Science and Technology, Myanmar from 2006 to 2010. She is a professional member of IEEE/ACM. She has been acting as a Member of the Conference Steering Committee of International Conference of Computer Application (ICCA) 2004, 2005, 2006,2007,2008,2009, 2010, 2011,2012 and 2013. She was also a member of the Conference Steering Committee of IEEE Asia Pacific Symposium on Information and Telecommunication Technology (IEEE-APSITT 2005). Her research interests are Operating Systems, Distributed Systems, Cluster computing, Grid computing and Cloud computing.
