Dr. Youki Kadobayashi has been assisting ICT regulatory agencies in Japan for 10 years as a subject matter expert. He has also been working within ITU-T Study Group 17 as the rapporteur of Q.4 (Cybersecurity). In addition to his service on international standards development, he also closely works with research communities worldwide to further progress the state of cybersecurity. Based on his working experience across research, standardization and education sectors, he firmly believes that promising new technologies can be transformed into technological infrastructure only after considerable amount of efforts by each of these sectors.
