Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop and Annual Conference on Spectrum Management

​​Asia-Pacific Regional Workshop on "Managing Spectrum in the age of wireless communication"  conducted in Bangkok, Thailand from 3 - 4 May 2017. The workshop organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and supported by Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning (MSIP) – Republic of Korea.

This workshop targeted towards mid to senior level management from policy makers, regulators, corporate executives and managers undertaking Spectrum Management responsibilities in their respective organizations and  would focused on:

  • Digital Broadcasting
  • Cross border interference management
  • Trends in Spectrum Management (Spectrum Economics, Masterplans, Automation of SM system)

The workshop preceded by, the 3rd Annual Asia-Pacific Spectrum Management Conference. Jointly organized by ITU, APT and Forum Global from 2-3 May, 2017. For further details of this conference kindly visit the following link www.spectrummanagement.asia.

Fellowship:

ITU provided one partial fellowship (covering meals and accommodation for the two events) for each eligible country, subject to availability of funds, with preference to those relevant applicants who are working in the target areas of the workshop. The successful applicants would be expected to contribute to the sessions of the workshop. Applicants requesting fellowships are required to submit their fellowship request forms duly signed by their respective Administrations by no later than 31st March 2017. The fellowship request form is attached as Annex-B and can also be accessed at the event webpage.
