The national workshop on ICT
Accessibility Policy will take place on the 23rd of September
2019. The purpose of this workshop is to
present ITU’s draft recommendations for Iraq’s ICT Accessibility Policy to
relevant stakeholders in Iraq.
Expected participants of this
workshop are policy makers and legislators relevant to persons with
disabilities and information and communication technologies. In addition, relevant private sector
companies including telecom operators and internet service providers as well as
civil society organizations.
The workshop will be organized during
ITU-UNESCO Digital Inclusion Week for the Arab region that will be from 22-28
